How it plays

Reliable at all times, average at everything. The Revolver is peak commitment-phobia in weapon form: it does nothing exceptionally, but it does everything adequately and it never lets you down. Its real job is elemental application: switch to it, fire once, tick the element, switch back.

StrategyUse it as a utility piece. Mark Ace at Lv30 tags enemies for +15% damage from all sources, a small number that adds up during team play or boss damage phases. Fanning Ace rewards a clean reload timing with a full chain-fire. Both are fine. Neither is the reason you picked up this gun.

Strengths

  • Default starter sidearm, always available, no unlock needed
  • Reliable elemental application without sacrificing a spell slot
  • Better range accuracy than its stats imply

  • Does nothing the other sidearms don't do better
  • Low DPS ceiling even fully upgraded
