Thunderstrike allows you to stay in the air for about 6 seconds after hearing the flick. By facing horizontally rather than looking at the ground and using Boing right as you press "dive", you will launch yourself really far toward the chosen direction instead of slamming straight down. This combo can be used to traverse massive distances across open plains or from a vantage point, and you don't waste Thunderstrike either, the blast still occurs wherever you land. A quick note that Thunderstrike by itself will consume all your jumps but will refresh dash, so it is recommended to use them up for as much vertical climb as possible before initiating the tech.
