Overview

How it plays

The Pyro school's starter and its most reliable spell. A fireball that explodes on impact, leaves burning ground, deals 60 damage flat, and ticks for a further two damage per second for five seconds. The ground fire is the real asset - it stays, it damages, and it sets up Surcharge detonations.

StrategyLead shots into enemy movement paths so targets walk through the burning ground rather than around the explosion. The fire patch is where the sustained damage lives. Fireball into Surcharge is one of the cleanest burst combos in the game: the fire patch ignites everything, then Surcharge detonates it all at once.
